Lithium-Ionen

LITHIUM

All types of lithium batteries offer high energy density and are therefore particularly suitable for energy-intensive applications.

Due to their composition, lithium-ion batteries offer decisive advantages:

  • High discharge currents possible
  • Very high energy density
  • Lower weight
  • Operation possible in a wide range of temperatures
(depending on manufacturer -20°c to +60°c)

Nickel-Metal-Hydride

NICKEL METAL HYPRIDE

Despite the lower energy density compared to Li-ion batteries, they are the optimal solution for some industrial applications.

Due to their composition, nickel metal hydride batteries offer decisive advantages:

  • Operation possible in a wide range of temperatures
(-20c to +75c depending on manufacturer).
  • High intrinsic safety, as electrolyte is non-flammable
  • Simple & very safe construction

Lead-Acid

LEAD-ACID

Lead-acid batteries are suitable for many applications, especially stationary ones.

Due to their composition, lead-acid batteries offer decisive advantages:

  • Standard sizes available
  • Good price-performance ratio
  • Long service life
  • Can be used in cyclic or stand-by mode
  • Easy handling
  • Discharge possible in almost all positions
