The sustainability, due to the lack of critical raw materials, as well as the greater safety of the saltwater battery has convinced us to include it in our range.

We have already held intensive discussions with manufacturers of sodium-ion batteries so that we will soon be able to offer you suitable batteries at an attractive price.
Lithium-ion batteries are currently in high demand. The cells with their high energy density and long service life are installed in electric cars, notebooks, smartphones and many other devices. However, these cells are not considered to be environmentally friendly or very safe to use and store.
This is where the sodium-ion battery offers clear advantages. The production of the cell is more environmentally friendly than that of the lithium-ion battery. It can be produced more cost-effectively and therefore also results in a more favourable sales price. The cells are more resistant to temperature fluctuations and offer greater safety during use and storage. They are also characterised by a long service life and now also have a higher energy density. This has made them interesting for the automotive industry and the first small cars with built-in sodium-ion batteries are already in series production.

- Lower production costs
The raw material is available in unlimited quantities and is therefore inexpensive. - Conversion from lithium production to sodium production is possible without additional costs.
- The sodium-ion battery is less harmful to the environment
Lithium is often mined in sensitive ecosystems. This means that mining harms the environment. - The sodium battery is safer
Lithium is a very reactive metal and sensitive to temperature fluctuations. The reactivity of the sodium cell is very low and therefore also the risk of fire. - The service life and the associated cycles are above average for sodium cells.
- Sodium-ion cells are insensitive to temperature fluctuations.
